I'd be curious to see what our commutes would be without TriMet. Every 7 to 11 minutes a double long train pulls up and about two dozen people get on. This happens all morning at many stops. Tens of thousands of people at any moment are on these trains at any given time at rush hour going in both directions.
Put them on the road and life would be miserable.
